Major road construction is underway near Cancun International Airport (CUN), opens in a new window that can disrupt or lengthen transfer times to and from the airport. This construction is expected to last until late 2023. You may want to pack books, travel games and other ways to stay entertained while you wait at the airport and during your transfer. For your return flight home, plan to arrive at the airport three hours before your flight.
