Delta Vacations Travel Advisory Waiver Policy
The Delta Vacations Travel Advisory Waiver Policy ensures that you can purchase your vacation with confidence. If your travel dates and destinations are impacted by a Delta Air Lines issued event waiver, our policy allows you to cancel your existing vacation and receive a Delta Vacations travel certificate for the original package value. With a travel certificate, you can rebook and travel within one year from the travel certificate issue date. You also have the option to rebook right away, within the specific Delta Air Lines issued event waiver guidelines.

The full value will be applied to your new revised booking.
Delta Vacations Travel Advisory Waiver Policy Terms and Conditions
- Delta Vacations allows you to cancel your existing vacation and receive a Delta Vacations travel certificate for the original package value if your travel dates and destinations are included as impacted travel dates and affected cities in a Delta-issued event waiver.
- If you are affected, and have not yet commenced travel, you have the following options:
- Rebook your vacation without penalties to any other Delta Vacations destination, for travel within the departure dates listed in the waiver guidelines.
- Prior to the original scheduled departure date, you must cancel existing services that will not be used, and rebook within the booking dates stated in the applicable Delta waiver.
- If the cost of the new reservation exceeds the cost of the original reservation, you are responsible for any additional cost at the time of rebooking.
- If the cost of the new reservation is less than the original reservation, the balance will be refunded to you in the form of a Delta Vacations travel certificate, which is valid for booking any Delta Vacations destination within one year, for travel anytime, based on availability.
- Cancel your vacation and receive a refund in the form of a Delta Vacations travel certificate, which is valid for booking another Delta Vacations package within one year of your certificate issue date.
- If you purchased the Travel Protection Plan, you have additional coverage options. View the full details of the Travel Protection Plan, opens in a new window. Delta Vacations may modify or terminate this policy at any time, without notice, in its sole discretion.
- Rebook your vacation without penalties to any other Delta Vacations destination, for travel within the departure dates listed in the waiver guidelines.
- Group bookings are expressly excluded and do not qualify for this waiver policy. Please see applicable terms in the group contract, if one applies, for applicable change and cancellation policies.
- Delta Vacations is the final authority on the interpretation of these rules and reserves the right to change the Travel Advisory Waiver Policy Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice.
- Use of this policy by ineligible customers will result in the removal of all credits toward cancellation fees.
- In such cases, ineligible customers will be required to pay the full price or will be required to cancel the ineligible reservation and pay the applicable cancellation fee.
