Planning your vacation should be quick and easy — and so is our Vacation Price Pledge. Simply submit your Vacation Price Pledge request online and receive assistance within three business hours or call 1-800-231-2090 for instant approval by phone.
What you should know before requesting a Vacation Price Pledge:
- Requests should be submitted within 24 hours of making your Delta Vacations reservation
- Trips must include one of the following: flight/hotel, flight/car rental, flight/hotel/car rental, hotel/car rental or hotel/airport transfer. Individual segments of a booking are not eligible; only the entire reservation will be considered
- Trips must be exactly the same:
- Same airline, branded fare (Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Delta Comfort+®, First Class and Delta One®), flight numbers, flight times, origin, destination, number of passengers and days/dates of travel required
- Same hotel, room category, length of stay, hotel plan (including resort fees if applicable), number of people in room, destination, refundable/nonrefundable hotel stay and type of transfer (if applicable) required
- Same car rental company, car type/class, number of car rental days and destination required
Complete documentation of the competitor’s price and proof of competitor’s space available at the time of the request must be provided and attached to the online form or faxed to 1-888-848-4819.
Vacation Price Pledge guarantee Terms and Conditions
- Requests must be submitted within 24 hours after booking. Requests on Delta Vacations packages requested more than 24 hours after booking are not eligible for consideration.
- Requests will be reviewed as soon as possible and generally within three business hours after receipt. You will be notified via email once request has been reviewed. Business hours for guarantees are 7 am-7 pm CST Monday-Friday and 9 am-5 pm CST Saturday, excluding major holidays.
- You may fax the documentation to 1-888-848-4819, including your Delta Vacations booking number for reference, and must attach documentation of the competitor’s website and pricing to the completed request form.
- Only vacation packages (flight/hotel, flight/car rental, flight/hotel/car rental) and land-only (hotel/car rental, hotel/transfers) bookings will be eligible for guarantee requests.
- Competitor booking must identically match the Delta Vacations booking including without limitation:
o Flight — Same airline, branded fare (Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Delta Comfort+®, First Class and Delta One®), flight numbers, flight times, origins, destinations, number of passengers, dates of travel and with the exact same rules and restrictions
o Hotel — Hotel property, length of stay, room category, hotel plan (including resort fees if applicable), number of people in room, destination, refundable/nonrefundable and type of transfer (if applicable)
o Car Rental — Car rental company, car type/class, number of car rental days and destination
- Documentation must match the competitor's total price, including all taxes and fees.
- Proof of competitive price is required and must be submitted with the guarantee request. Competitive documentation must include a screen shot with a time/date stamp from no more than 24 hours prior to time of submission of the guarantee request. The screen shot must include all details of the booking (flight numbers, hotel room categories, & car
- Individual portions of a booking, including flight only on non-Delta-operated flights or car rental only, are not eligible for a guarantee.
- Competitor must have the same hotel and room category available at time of request.
- Competitor must have space available on the identical flight(s) at time of request.
- Qualifying competitor package rates must be quoted in U.S. dollars and from a U.S.-based website.
- Free tickets, award travel, upgrade bookings, unpublished fares, published fares where the airline carrier is not disclosed at time of ticketing, incentive travel distributed by competitors and other discounted fares not available to the general public are not eligible.
- Guarantee may not be combined with any other discount. If a promo code/e-certificate has already been applied to the booking it may be reviewed for price pledge consideration; however, the promo code/e-certificate discount will be removed to complete the Vacation Price Pledge process and may not be applied after the guarantee has been confirmed.
- If a request is submitted after payment has been applied, normal cancellation penalties will apply if the booking is canceled whether the guarantee is approved or not.
- Delta Vacations will not match package or land-only requests which are offered by or booked directly with a hotel.
- Auction websites and corporate or sales agreements are not eligible for guarantee consideration.
- If any changes are made to an honored booking, the honored amount is no longer valid and the booking cannot be resubmitted for consideration.
- If honored, bookings on hold must be paid in full or a deposit made (if eligible) for a guarantee adjustment to be made.
- Any refunds will be processed back to the original form of payment.
- 3-hour review window begins when Delta Vacations has received the necessary competitor verification information.
- Delta Vacations reserves the right to alter or cancel this program at any time without notice.
- The Delta Vacations Price Pledge guarantee policy and request forms are subject to review and approval by Delta Vacations.
- Delta Vacations reserves the right to audit requests:
- If any requests are suspected or found to be fraudulent, they will be denied and the original Delta Vacations price will be charged.
- Any screen shot that appears to be fabricated or altered in any manner will void the request.
- Requests are not eligible if competitor pricing errors are revealed during the verification process.
- If the lower price is validated by Delta Vacations, you will receive a call to confirm the refund amount and information regarding your travel voucher for $50 to be used on your next trip booked through Delta Vacations.
- The voucher is valid for one year from date of issuance and valid for use on any qualifying Delta Vacations package or land-only booking and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Voucher will be issued to the primary customer on the booking and will only be eligible for use by such customer. The voucher may contain additional terms and conditions.
- For a claim to be valid under this guarantee, it must satisfy all Terms and Conditions and be submitted in compliance with the claims processing procedures set forth herein. Price matching and $50 travel voucher are the only consideration that will be provided for valid requests. Customer is not entitled to, and expressly waives, any other right or remedy in connection with this policy.
